How pricing works

The price on the card is the price. No trip charge, and nothing lands on the invoice you didn't agree to.

In-home visits cover the drive out and up to an hour. More time or a second fix while I'm there is $50 per extra half hour, and I'll always ask first.

Bench work is flat rate no matter how many hours it takes, and pickup and return are free anywhere in Boone County.

The $40 diagnostic

When something is broken and neither of us knows why yet, there's a $40 diagnostic. I find the actual problem instead of guessing, then quote you a flat price to fix it.

Book the repair and the $40 comes off the bill, so the diagnosis is free if you go ahead. If you'd rather not, you still get a straight answer about what's wrong and what it would take.

Setup, installs, and lessons don't need a diagnosis, so there's no diagnostic on those.

A note about equipment

These prices are for my time and work. If a job needs new gear, I'll tell you exactly what to get and send you a link.

You buy it directly, so you pay store price and I don't add anything on top. If you'd rather I pick it up, I'm glad to, and I'll just add the receipt to your bill.

All I ask is that it's at the house before install day.
